A sad farewell
« on: January 04, 2013, 07:51:50 PM »
This is a sad post I am writing as I am going to have to say farewell to the cab and put it up for sale. I have been really busy over the last year and have not got the use out of it I would have liked and haven't really had much time to get on the site much. My wife and I now have a baby on the way and we have the cab and a 3 door focus so we need to chop at least 1 in to get a sensible 5 door car (looking at a qashqai).

So keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks as its gonna have to go including the hardtop and I'll post an ad on here. Just a few of the quick details in case anyone is looking for another car or hardtop.

2000 x reg 2.0 auto SE in moonstone (the best colour.....duck).
64k on the clock
Taxed till sep 2013
Mot till dec 2013

Moonstone hardtop with lions in great condition with fitting kit.

Windblox wind block.

I'm not around for a week or so, so when I have time soon I'll pop up some pictures and more details.

Before I do sell and forget to post, I just want to say a big thanks to all the guys on this site who really do make it a great place to visit.

Dan

Nice one Dan, hope your little one brings you happiness and no hair loss.  :-X
Can I ask why the cab and not the focus. The focus is a bit boring, though being a hatchback is quite versatile, I can understand why you are keeping it. Let her have the Qashqai and have the cab to yourself.  ;D

Thanks guys, I am afraid I need to put my sensible head on and the cab costs more to run all round on tax/insurance/petrol than the focus and with the wife planning to take at least a year off work we're gonna need to save money. I am also thinking about chopping the focus in too eventually and maybe getting a little 1.0l or something to run forward and back to work in.
